Hi Everyone,
I mistakenly posted the wrong submittion deadline for the Knowledge Enterprise internship. The correct date for submissions July 10, 2022 and the internship is for the Fall 2022 session C. Here is the updated version of the job announcement. Apologies for the error.
Knowledge Enterprise (KE) Training Team: Instructional Design Internship
ASU’s Knowledge Enterprise (KE) Training Team is seeking an intern to help support the design and delivery of multimedia eLearning assets such as online modules, graphics, interactive software tutorials, and conducting user experience testing and evaluations.
KE Training is most well known as the administration team for the Research Academy website, a learning management system for KE staff as well as a resource for the entire ASU research community (staff, faculty, and students).
KE Training works with a wide range of research and research administration focused topics and subject matter experts to create training materials, reference materials, work instructions, job aids, online surveys/questionnaires, and provides some event management assistance.
Partnering with KE Training provides multiple options for development in technical communication, including:
- Authoring, editing, and/or formatting training/reference materials for online use (including eLearning solutions, job aids, work instructions, etc.).
- Improving existing instructional materials and training assets.
- Developing branded graphics, charts, or other visual materials.
- Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience.
- User experience and quality testing.
- Creating reports, documents, forms, and surveys using web-based tools.
- Consulting with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts.
- Independent investigation regarding assigned research or research-administration topics.
KE Training anticipates Fall 2022 internship projects to be related to:
- Authoring, editing, and/or formatting instructional content for student researchers, proposal or journal writing, research ethics and compliance, or other research or administration activities.
As an intern with the KE Training team, you’d be assisting a team of creative and collaborative individuals with diverse skillsets.
The internship is unpaid and can be completed during Session C of the fall semester for a maximum of 3 credit hours. The associated academic course is TWC 484. Applicants selected for this internship opportunity will need to register for the academic portion of the internship separately. Academic classwork or projects may be assigned in addition to the KE Training internship projects. Selected applicants should anticipate spending at least 10 hours per week on assigned KE Training projects and academic course related projects.
